The exam lasts for 35 minutes. The final 15 minutes are open book, meaning you can refer to the permitted course publications during this section.

Is the SMSTS Exam Open Book or Closed Book?
The exam is mostly closed book, but there’s a 15-minute open book section at the end.
You have 35 minutes to complete the examination overall. During the final 15 minutes, delegates are permitted to refer to the approved publications. This element of the exam should not be regarded as an opportunity to look up every answer; with only 15 minutes available, searching through the course materials for basic information would waste valuable examination time. Instead, you should use this period to check information, or confirm an answer when you are uncertain.
