  • Achieving performance through people (14 hour course)

    This course equips the learner with the skills and understanding to effectively lead a team and achieve optimal performance through people, as necessary for a practising or aspiring site supervisor.


    Scope Of COurse:
    – The impact that your personal leadership style has on the success of others
    – Setting Up And keeping an efficient team dynamic 
    – Inspiring the team to increase productivity
    – How communication plays a role in the performance of both teams and sites
    – Using feedback to further individual and team achievements
    – Utilising coaching strategies to develop and enhance the performance of team members
    – Convincing and persuading others in order to attain desired goals. 

 

  • Delivery of site operations and logistics (14 hour course)

    This course provides the learner with the skills necessary for planning and assigning tasks to team members onsite to increase quality and optimise team performance, as expected from a site supervisor in practice or who is aspiring to become one.

    The goal of this short course is to enable the delegate to gain an understanding of how to apply leadership and management skills in order to meet safety, quality and behavioural standards when implementing project plans and work activities. This standard is suitable for practising or aspiring team leaders or site supervisors.

    – Roles and Responsibilities of a Site Supervisor or Team Leader
    – Distinguishing Leadership from Management and the Correlation between them
    – Guaranteeing Quality Control in Site Administration
    – Demonstrating the importance of Health and Safety in Site Administration.
