• Is Exam Included & How Is It Assessed?

  • Yes, the exam is included.

    The EMC1 assessment is an online open book exam that is completed and uploaded via the NEBOSH digital portal. Learners will have 24 hours to access, complete and submit their paper, starting from 11am (UK time) on the examination date.

    In this exam, you’ll be given a workplace-based scenario and asked to respond to a series of questions that test your understanding of environmental management in both theory and practice.

    The EMC2 assessment involves carrying out a practical evaluation of environmental aspects and impacts in a workplace of your choice. This can be carried out in your own workplace or at home and must be emailed for marking before the stated deadline.
