Leadership & Management Development Fund
In the dynamic world of construction, the importance of robust leadership and effective management cannot be overstated. Recognising this, CITB has introduced the Leadership and Management Development Fund. This initiative is designed to bolster the skills of leaders and managers within the construction sector, ensuring that businesses are well-equipped to face the challenges of today and tomorrow.
CITB hopes that this funding will help to enhance the leadership and management capabilities across the construction sector, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability.
Businesses can receive up to £100,000 of funding from the CITB Leadership & Management Development Fund.

- For businesses with over 250 employees as noted in their latest levy return the following is offered:
- 250-499 employees up to £50,000
- 500-999 employees up to £75,000
- 1,000 or more employees up to £100,000

Applying for the Leadership and Management Development Fund is straightforward. Businesses need to demonstrate a clear training need, a commitment to enhancing leadership and management skills, and a plan for how the training will impact their operations. As part of the application for the funding, a proposal of the training programme must be written and supplied to CITB. CST Training can assist in the completion this part of your application as the associated training provider.
Funding Eligibility

- Employers who are registered with CITB and up to date with their Levy Returns are eligible.
- Small employers who are not required to pay the levy but are registered with CITB are eligible.

Grants cannot be paid to individual employees, only to employers.
