• What is MSP® Foundation?

  • MSP® Foundation is the entry level qualification in the Managing Successful Programmes framework. It introduces you to the core principles, governance themes and processes used to manage large scale organisational change. The course provides the essential knowledge needed to support programme teams and ensures you understand how transformational change is planned, managed and delivered using the MSP® approach.

• Who Is MSP® Foundation For?

  • MSP® Foundation is ideal for anyone involved in delivering or supporting programme level change. It’s particularly suited to:

• Foundation Or Practitioner?

  • MSP® Foundation gives you a basic understanding of the MSP framework, including its principles, themes and processes. This level prepares you to work confidently as part of a programme team.

    MSP® Practitioner builds on this knowledge and focuses on applying the framework in real scenarios. It’s more advanced and is designed to help you use MSP to lead, plan and manage programmes effectively in practice.

• MSP® Foundation Certificate

  • Once you pass the exam, you will receive an MSP Foundation certificate from PeopleCert. This confirms your understanding of the MSP framework and shows that you can contribute effectively within a programme environment.
• What Are The Entry Requirements?

  • There are no formal entry requirements for the MSP® Foundation course. Some basic knowledge or experience in project management or a related field can be helpful, but it isn’t required.

• Exam Information

  • The exam is a multiple choice assessment with 60 questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It is closed book, and you must reach the required pass mark to earn your MSP Foundation certification.

    Ensure that your computer meets the following system requirements:

    • Windows® 10 (Windows 10S is not supported), Windows® 8.1, Windows® 8
    • Internet Explorer version 10 or greater
    • Dual-core 2.4GHz CPU or faster with 2GB of RAM (recommended)
    • Active Full-Time/Broadband internet connection of at least 4Mbps
    • 16-bit monitor (at least 15”) with screen resolution 1024 x 768 or higher
    • Speakers and microphone (the use of headsets is only allowed during onboarding)
    • Keyboard and mouse or another pointing device (keyboard set to English characters)
    • A single web camera (embedded or external – no mobile phone) you can rotate.
