EUSR Water Courses

The EUSR Water Hygiene course is a mandatory training programme for anyone working on or near clean (potable) water in the UK. It ensures that workers understand and follow strict hygiene practices to prevent contamination of the water supply.

The course covers key topics such as:

• The importance of water hygiene

• Routes of contamination

• Personal hygiene responsibilities

• Approved working practices (the National Water Hygiene Code of Practice)

Upon successful completion, candidates can apply for their EUSR Water Hygiene (Blue) Card, valid for three years. This is often required by water companies and contractors before allowing access to clean water sites or networks.

The SHEA Water 1-day course is for those working in the water industry who need their EUSR card. It is suitable for Water Utility Workers, Site Supervisors, Managers and Operatives who work with water and need the EUSR card to get on-site for their occupation.
